Be Happy
Happy people are in general more successful and more likely to achieve favourable life circumstances, say scientists.
Researcher Sonja Lyubomirsky of the University of California, Riverside, and co-researchers said this may be because happy people frequently experience positive moods which prompts them to be more likely to work actively toward new goals and build new resources.
"When people feel happy, they tend to feel confident, optimistic, and energetic and others find them likeable and sociable. Happy people are thus able to benefit from these perceptions," said Lyubomirsky.
The researchers examined the connections between desirable characteristics, life successes and well-being of over 275,000 people, science portal EurekAlert reported.
"Our review provides strong support that happiness, in many cases, leads to successful outcomes, rather than merely following from them and happy individuals are more likely than their less happy peers to have fulfilling marriages and relationships, high incomes, superior work performance, community involvement, robust health and even a long life" said Lyubomirsky.
Other resources, such as intelligence, family, expertise and physical fitness, can also play a role in people's successes.

what is triskaidekaphobia?
The fear of number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia and it was derived from treiskaideka, the Greek word for thirteen and phobia. There were thirteen people at Christ's Last Supper before his captivity, it is recorder that Christ was crucified on Friday. Routine mission to the moon goes drastically wrong on Apollo 13. Some hotels skip number thirteen when numbering rooms. In Formula 1, there is no car with the number 13.
story of SELF-CONFIDENCE & FAITH
Often we get discouraged and frustrated ion life when we face setbacks and diasappointments in life. but there is the eye-opening story of Ben Underwood, a young boy who, due to the onset of cancer, has been blind since the age of three.
Ben at age six he was using a cane, but three years before he began using a technique called echolocation, the same method used by bats and dolphins to perceive their environments.
It soon became apparent that Ben's skills were called 'extraordinary' and 'pushing the limits of human perception' by medical doctors. Simply by using a series of clicks and gauging the time it takes for the sound to return and in exactly what fashion, he can operate in the world like any other child.
He skateboards, plays kickball with the neighborhood kids, and even chases down his brother to return a sneak-attack tackle. Ben can even tell the difference between a parked car and truck, all through the use of clicks with his mouth. Simply amazing.
The point of this story, as far as we're concerned, isn't that Ben Underwood has an amazing ability but that he took a weakness and turned it into a source of creativity, skill, and strength. He didn't dwell, nor did he accept a state of life below his desires. Instead, he accepted the facts and moved forward with his life.
It's the example of overcoming adversity that I want you to take to heart. If a young boy can function and maneuver without the use of his eyes, can't you find a way to overcome your challenges? Can't you find a way to get the things you want and to help those you care about do the same?
